Welcome to the U District Scottish Country Dancing Meetup! Scottish country dance is a type of social dance done in a small group called a set that involves a series of progressive patterns. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or you've never heard of it before, this group is great for anyone wanting to try to out some social dancing. A little bit like what they do in Jane Austen novels (English country dance), but more energetic! This is a group social dance with no partners needed and beginners are super welcome!
