Welcome to the UAE Western Riding & Cowboy Culture Community!
We’re bringing together people across the UAE who enjoy Western riding, horses and cowboy culture. Whether you ride, own a horse, are curious about Quarter Horses, or are simply interested in learning, you’re welcome here—no experience needed.
We hope to connect riders, horse owners, trainers and enthusiasts, share knowledge, and explore activities such as social meetups, ranch visits, talks and beginner-friendly introductions to Western riding. We’re also interested in learning whether there’s a local community for cowboy skills such as roping, and how these could be introduced safely and responsibly.
Join the conversation, share your experience, and help shape a friendly community for Western riding in the UAE.

UAE Western Riding & Cowboy Culture Community
·OnlineOnlineGood evening, everyone, and thank you for joining us.
My name is Dr. Yaser Alkatheeri. I’m bringing together people in the UAE who are interested in Western riding and cowboy culture.I started with a simple question: are there people here who share an interest in Quarter Horses and Western riding, and would like to help this community grow?
Today is a chance for us to meet, share our experience, and learn who is already involved in the UAE—riders, horse owners, trainers and enthusiasts. From there, we can explore how to build an organised community and contact the American Quarter Horse Association, or AQHA, to learn about its membership and affiliate requirements.
You don’t need to be an experienced rider to take part. I’d like to hear what interests you, what experience you can share, and who else you think should be part of this community.I hope this is the start of a strong network, and that we can shape the next steps together.
