CablePark Wakeboarding Trip to Al Forsan in Abu Dhabi
Details
Let's get our feet wet and go rip the cable park in Abu Dhabi!
----------------About the place----------------
The Al Forsan sports has one of the nicest cable parks I have ever visited. For those that have never tried wakeboarding a cablepark, it's like a boat but with less consequences, more fun for your money and with kickers, ramps, rails, and stuff.
---------------- Admission Prices----------------
Admission to the resort is free, but we do pay to wakeboard.
1h of wakeboarding : dh130.00
2h of wakeboarding : not listed on their website, but it's slightly less than 1 hour times 2
Gear rental is included and if you want the more advanced gear (better board), you will have to pay around dh50.
The place has a bar where they also sell beer (at least they did) and soft drinks. You can also get food or chill by the water side.
---------------- Required Equipment----------------
If you're planning to bring your own equipment, then you need a PFD or impact vest and helmets are mandatory in the park. You also need a wakeboard.
Otherwise, all the necessary equipment is provided at no extra cost. If you want the premium equipment, you have to check.
You will also need a swimsuit, towel, shampoo, etc. The water is usually quite warm so you shouldn't need a wetsuit but you can take it if you prefer to be toasty warm.
---------------- Itinerary ----------------
We meet at the Al Forsan resort at 10:00 a.m. Once we're registered and kitted up, we'll head to the water and go have fun for at least 2 hours - or more if anyone wants to take a full-day package.
I'm taking my car and I have room for up to 4 passengers if anyone wants to join me. I'll be leaving from Dubai at 7:30 a.m. from IMPZ. I have a truck so room wouldn't be an issue.
I need to leave at 3:00 p.m. to go to work, so I might leave early with those that travel with me - if any. Anyone else is welcome to stay longer.
If you're gonna join, please RSVP. I'm available to answer any questions via WhatsApp @ 056 117 6717 or through the chat here. If we get more than 5 people, I will be calling ahead to make a reservation so we have spots and kit available.
If anyone wants more information about the prices for day-passes, etc., message me and I'll find out.
