The state of Microsoft SDK development
Details
In this event Richard Conway and a few others will be discussing how Microsoft SDKs in particular the open source SDKs in Azure have been built and some of their shortcomings.
This will be an open forum to discuss whether it's worthwhile to use the SDKs or the REST APIs in your code, the cadence of fixes on GitHub and the ever increasing GitHub issues list, code quality and readability.
We'll end with a question of whether it's worth Microsoft supporting these or investing in a community that may be able to do a better job. All thoughts and opinions welcome.
