Practice make Perfect

PLEASE NOTE:
The first half hour of today's session will be dedicated to the new/beginner group. We will review some ukulele basics and play some easy songs.

The Ukulele Friends session will begin at 12:00.

This time for the first half of the Meetup, we'll start practicing for our upcoming Bayshire Retirement Home Concert. We've had a couple members submit songs so far, and we'd like to motivate everyone to do that as well. You'll see in the list below we have room for more songs, so send your songs to Jim or I.

Also in talking with the activities director at Bayshire, he'd like us to play for their Happy Hour, which starts at 3pm. Hopefully a little libation will encourage the residents to sing a long with us and dance! We'll play for roughly an hour at Bayshire.

If you're joining us for the first time, we'll be running through the selected songs at least a couple times, so it's a great opportunity to really learn a particular song. If there's one you'd like to share with the group let us know and we'll include it too.

During the 2nd half of the Meetup, we'll go around the group requesting songs to play out of our library.
