Learning Argentine Tango can change your life in numerous ways. We know it because we teach it for like - forever. Special people start learning the Tango and this is not without reason. We have a saying - you do not choose Tango. Tango chooses you. And when the time is right - you will encounter it.
We are not gonna lie to you. It will not be easy. But it is the best thing you will ever do for Your Partner and Yourself! Argentine Tango is not just a dance.
Hernan and I think of an Argentine Tango as a Philosophy of Life. People who join us on the journey to discovery usually stay for years. I would say forever, but that's a tricky word since I had not experienced foreverness quite yet... It would indicate immortality, right?
Tango is a dance based on communication between two bodies - the dance is improvised. That means the Leader proposes the movement to the Follower in response to what she confirms the understanding of it and interprets it in the way she and her body understood the proposal. All this happens non-verbally - that's why the dance is extremely difficult but developed undescribable understanding between the couple.
We teach for years and see it happening over and over again. It does not happen in one lesson though. So if you expect that
- you are simply deceiving yourself. Tango is a path. We invite you to step on it and start your journey.

Tango turns aren’t just about spinning - they’re about control, intention, and connection.In this series, we’ll explore giros from both forward and back crosses, refining the sensation of circularity, upper-body torsion, and how to accompany your partner through motion and stillness alike.
What you’ll learn:
- Entry into giros from forward and back crosses
- Opposition and circular motion in flat and curved planes
- Understanding “same front” torsion for smoother transitions
- Direction changes within the giro
- Parada, sandwich, mordida, and barrida variations
- Bicycle & hamaca – mastering axis control
Every pivot, pause, and plane of motion reveals another layer of tango logic.
This is the class where giros stop feeling like technique and start feeling like art.

- Differentiate crosses and ochos
- Execute forward and back ochos with balance
- Master torsion, spiral, and isolation
- Control your pivot axis with precision
- Blend opposition and connection for dynamic movement
- Lead and follow with refined timing and sensitivity
