Umbraco Hacktoberfest kick-off featuring Shannon Deminick

In this hackathon, Umbraco HQ member, Sebastiaan Janssen will guide you through the fun and games involved in getting (your first?) contribution added to Umbraco CMS.

We have a special guest in town all the way from Australia: Shannon Deminick will be available to help out during the evening.
Whether you have never done this before or are a seasoned pro, you will have a challenging day of hacking ahead of you!

What to expect

Beginners: you will get guidance in making sure they can work on the Umbraco source code in their local environments.
Pros: If you’ve been doing this before we’ll welcome you to come on over, share your knowledge and tips & tricks and do some more contributing as well.

Practical stuff

We will provide you with drinks and food (please contact us for dietary restrictions). If you can’t make it exactly at 17.00 you’re also welcome to jump in later!
