Umbraco Hackaton

Hi Umbracians,

Happy Hacktoberfest! We have many things to hack on during this hackathon. Traditionally, we focus on the many "up for grabs" issues on the Umbraco CMS repository and try to fix some of them. This means cloning the Umbraco source code, finding the area we need to look into, making changes, and sending a PR.

We also encourage you to help out package developers in improving their packages, and we'll have a list of participating packages ready for you.

No previous experience is required (although we do expect you to have used Umbraco before), and remember: no pull request is too simple or too small.

Sebastiaan Janssen from Umbraco HQ will also be on-site to help guide your contributions and hand out tickets (if you weren't at Codegarden, you’ve missed this part) to work on.
Your contributions throughout the day will count towards Umbraco's Hacktoberfest event and can earn you swag 🛍️ (or we'll plant trees 🌳 on your behalf instead).

Come and join us — you're welcome to drop in at any time after 15:00.
There will be snacks, soft drinks, and food will be served around 18:00.

Join Kenn Jacobsen for a deep dive into Umbraco v15. He will explore new features like block-level variance, which is also has a new editor paradigm. He'll also dive into the new users/members API. Don't miss out!
