This is a group for people who'd rather share butter tea in a village kitchen than tick off another monument. For travellers who remember names, not just pictures. For anyone who's ever looked at a winding road on a map and wondered who lives at the end of it.
We're Uncharted Routes, a small travel company based in Hyderabad that designs journeys to the villages, valleys and coastlines most travellers drive past. Every route is scouted by us in person, hosted by locals, and never more than 12 of you.

What we do together
Story evenings: slow conversations over chai about places like Spiti, Kumaon, the Western Ghats and the Kerala backwaters, told by people who've been there and the hosts who live there.
Route previews: meet the team behind our upcoming journeys, see the photos, ask the honest questions and find out if a trip feels right for you.
Weekend escapes: short, unhurried trips closer to home for those who want a taste of slow travel before going further.
Craft and culture sessions: block printing, weaving, regional food and the traditions that make each place what it is.

Who this group is for
Slow wanderers, culture seekers, trailblazers and coastliners. Solo travellers looking for kind company. Couples, friends and first-timers who are curious but unsure where to begin. Bring nothing but curiosity.

What we believe
Hosts first, always. Local people are paid fairly and the largest share stays in the village. Small enough to be welcome. Scouted, not copy-pasted. Leave it as you found it: no plastic trails, no staged performances.
Joining is free, and there's no pressure to book anything. Come for the stories, stay for the people, and when you're ready, we'll help you draw your own route.
