What we’re about
We're a social group that plays together Saturday nights under the lights in the West Village.
Our softball group has been playing together for 30+ years. The season runs from April through September. We have a large core group of players and can use a handful of players each week to fill out the teams. If you enjoy the game, you're welcome to join the permanent roster.
The games are friendly and the teams balanced to make every game competitive. Any skill level is welcome as long as you realize this is all about being social.
Our soccer group has been playing 15+ years and has a shorter Summer season with random last-minute games throughout the year.
The soccer games are also meant to be friendly and social. There are players of varying levels but absolute beginners and very advanced players may not find the game to their liking as the game is meant to be a friendly kickabout. No hard tackles, no lunging into 50/50 balls, no selfish dribbling. If you cannot manage to play at a level that is inclusive of everyone on the pitch, you will be uninvited from the game.
There are more than enough competitive leagues and pick-ups to satisfy your aggressive tendencies.
