“Friday, May 29th Victoria BC Ska & Reggae Society is excited to bring back Brooklyn NY's ska/reggae kings THE SLACKERS to Vancouver BC at The Rickshaw Theatre. The last time The Slackers came to BC in 2024 we celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival.

Through The Slackers' mixed repertoire of music ranging from ska and reggae to soul, R&B, folk, and bossa nova they've managed to capture fans that span the spectrum of music with audiences of all ages. The band also plays with an aggressive edge and their songs veer in themes from the personal to the political”

Have you ever been interested in seeing small remote controlled aircraft take off into the sky? Would you like to learn how to fly these small planes? Then you may be interested in the Spring Fun Fly being organized by Burnaby Lake Flyers Club.

Entry ticket is $5.00
