Join us for a beautiful July 4th evening filled with good food, great company, Bay Area vibes, and one of the most special fireworks celebrations San Francisco has seen in years.
This year is extra special: America’s 250th birthday celebration will include a rare fireworks display connected to the Golden Gate Bridge, along with the classic waterfront fireworks near Pier 39. This is not just another July 4th night — it is one of those “once in a blue moon” Bay Area moments. 🌉🎆
## 🌿 Part 1: Lake Merritt BBQ & Evening Hangout
We’ll start the afternoon in a beautiful, safe neighborhood near the Lake Merritt area with a relaxed BBQ and hangout.
Come ready to eat, laugh, meet new people, and enjoy a warm community-style evening before we head into San Francisco together.
BBQ meetup time: 3:00 PM

## 🚆 Part 2: BART to San Francisco
Around 8:00 PM, we’ll head together by BART into San Francisco.
No stressful driving into the city. No parking drama. We’ll coordinate as a group and make the trip together.
Departure to BART: Around 8:00 PM
Destination: Pier 39 / SF waterfront area
## 🎆 Part 3: Fireworks from the SF Waterfront
We’ll head toward the Pier 39 / waterfront area to catch the July 4th fireworks.
Pier 39 and the northern waterfront are among the preferred areas to experience the show. While the exact Golden Gate Bridge view may depend on crowds, fog, and the final viewing spot, this should still be one of the most exciting places to feel the energy of the night.

Viewing area: Pier 39 / SF waterfront
Return: We’ll BART back together after the fireworks
