North Texas Global Game Jam (Collin College)

The North Texas Game Jam will be held in person at the IT Center of Excellence on the Frisco Campus of Collin College.

We encourage in-person participation. We will send out a Zoom link to our registered jammers for those who cannot attend the live event. We also hope to broadcast via Twitch to the Global Game Jam stream.

Friday Evening will be a Keynote, Theme, and Brainstorm held in PFIT-116.

After introductions and orientation to the space, we will watch the keynote and the theme announcement (for those who long for "the good old days.") The theme for this year's Global Game Jam will be announced on January 22nd, so you can view it beforehand (but act surprised)!

During the game pitches, we will write each idea on a whiteboard, and then everyone can join the teams with the ideas they find interesting. Please allow others to join your team if they sign up under your game pitch since the game jam is a good way to meet new people and network. Each team should have a producer responsible for creating the team and uploading the game and its assets to the GGJ website.

We will jam all day on Saturday!

We will present our games on Sunday afternoon.
