We encourage in-person participation. We also hope to broadcast via Twitch to the Global Game Jam stream.

Friday Evening will be a Keynote, Theme, and brainstorming session held on Zoom and Discord.
After introductions, we will watch the keynote and the theme announcement (for those who long for "the good old days.") The theme for this year's Global Game Jam will be announced on January 22nd, so you might have viewed it beforehand (but act surprised)!
During the game pitches, we will write each idea, and then everyone can join the teams with the ideas they find interesting. Please allow others to join your team if they sign up under your game pitch since the game jam is a good way to meet new people and network. Each team should have a producer responsible for creating the team and uploading the game and its assets to the GGJ website.
We will jam all day on Saturday!
We will present our games on Sunday afternoon.
