Unity Across Cultures: Where Global Citizens Find Belonging

About the Group
Welcome to Unity Across Cultures, a vibrant, inclusive community where people from all around the globe can come together to unite and share their experiences from various cultures, global citizens, 3rd Culture Kids (TCKs), Cross-Culture Kids (CCKs), and unity advocates come together to explore what it truly means to belong everywhere and nowhere at once.

We are a group of people passionate about building bridges across cultures. Whether you’ve lived in multiple countries, have a mixed heritage, are in an interracial relationship, or simply feel at home in diversity, this is your space to connect and celebrate the beauty of cultural diversity.

We believe in the magic of “1 + 1 = 3”  where combining cultures doesn’t dilute identity but creates a hybrid, uniquely beautiful culture we can call our own.

What Does “3rd Culture” Mean?
Are you someone who grew up in multiple cultures or countries? Have you ever lived, or are you currently living, in a country different from where you were born? Do you have a mixed heritage or are you in an intercultural or interfaith relationship? Do you love traveling, exploring diverse cultures, and see the world as one global community? Do you identify as a global citizen, passionate about unity and diversity? If so, this vibrant and inclusive group is the perfect community for you!

A Third Culture Kid (TCK) is an individual who, having spent a significant part of their developmental years outside their parents’ culture, builds relationships to all of the cultures while not having full ownership in any.

A Cross Culture Kid (CCK) is someone who lives in or meaningfully interacts with two or more cultural environments for a significant period during their developmental years. These experiences often create a unique “third culture”, not tied to geography, but to shared identity, empathy, and global perspective.

What We Do
We host several themed meetup series designed to celebrate both connection and curiosity:

  • 3rd Culture Talks: Deep, vulnerable discussions where we explore identity, belonging, and the living in-between. Have you ever felt like you belong everywhere and nowhere at the same time? What does “home” mean to you now?
  • Global Table: Monthly gatherings centered around food, stories, and traditions from around the world.
  • Unity Arts and Music: Experiencing the creative mindsets of people across the globe, where East meets West.
  • Unity Talks: Conversations and community nights that explore unity across faiths, cultures, values, and worldviews. We focus on shared humanity rather than division.
