***This event is for Premier Pass Riders Only (or anyone with a Express Pass Access for this day)***
All attendees must be at least 18 years old to join this adult event, preferred 21 and older because of possible alcohol consumption.
We will meet at Starbucks at the first table which is under the overhang at the entrance of CityWalk. We will leave promptly at 3:45pm to go to IOA.
Let's take advantage of our Premier Passes and ride roller coasters after 4pm! Rides including Velocicoaster, Hagrid's Motorbike, The Hulk, and many more (depending on availability that day).
Note that if you only signed up for this event, there is a lunch event we are doing early in the day. Please look at the meetup and sign up separately for that event.
On Sept. 8th, according to the website currently, Universal and IOA both close at 7pm. (This can always change).
Food/Drink - ***Bring an empty water bottle which can be filled at the soda stations*** We will definitely take a break for food and drinks but will stick to special event food tents or quick service to ensure we spend more time in the houses and less time waiting for food. There will be special event options throughout the event so if you have any preferences, please shout them out. Please stay hydrated!
Photo & Video Notice - We love capturing the fun at our meetups! Please note that group photos & videos, and sometimes candid shots, may be taken during the event for use in our group’s social media and promotional posts. By attending, you’re giving us permission to use your image in these materials. If you’d prefer not to be included, just let us know, we’ll make sure to respect that.
This is a social group and I encourage everyone to talk and make everyone feel comfortable and included in conversation. Be open to talking games where we will switch talking partners and topics while waiting in line.
Please leave plenty of time to get to the meeting location, it may take 30 minutes from parking to getting to the location. (It's much quicker if you get there early).
You must have your own annual pass! Watch out for blackout dates if you have a Power or Seasonal Pass!!
The intention of this group is to form friendships who are like minded, enjoy being social and engaging, and who have annual passes.
I will make sure we take breaks as needed.
If you have to leave the group for any reason, please do so at any time. It may be hard to "jump back in" since messaging can be difficult with a lot of people. You can ask where we are on the chat on Meetup however it may take a while for someone to respond.
We will be waiting in the regular lines and the wait times may be long. This time is great for talking, meeting new people, playing games, and sometimes this is the best part of the experience! So please don't be discouraged by long wait times.
I will be as accommodating as possible but just note that we might not be able to make it on the "one ride" that you want to ride. This group is more about experiencing fun times with fun people than it is about riding specific rides.
I will keep this a free group however, if you enjoyed your time, donations will be accepted only to cover the recurring maintenance costs of this group.
I help run other Meetup groups and am familiar with hosting events. Any unwanted or uncomfortable behavior will be noted and/or challenged and you may be asked to leave the group or may not be welcomed back. Anyone asked to leave will be banned from future meetups with our group.
