A Taste of Mardi Gras - March 22, 2025

Glad you can join us! Please read all the details below:

All attendees must be at least 18 years old to join this adult event, preferred 21 and older because of possible alcohol consumption.

***Note - During this event, sampling the food and beverages will be the main activity. We may add a Universal Studios ride or show here and there to give us time to take in more snacks!***

We're going to INDULGE ourselves in a different kind of Mardi Gras experience! Join our group as we wind our way through the best food and drink this festive season has to offer!

Meeting Time - We'll meet at 12:00pm at Starbucks in CityWalk. We'll make our way to the main gates of Universal Studios at 12:15pm. If you will be late, please let us know and we will try to post where we are so you can catch up. We will also post our next destination on the Comments on the app when we leave the first few snack locations to allow anyone who needs a later start to catch up with the group.

The Event - Once inside we will try to sample as many international treats as possible. We will likely not be able to hit all of the goodies available, so please comment ahead of time if you have a favorite one.

This is a social group and I encourage everyone to talk and make everyone feel comfortable and included in the conversation. Don't be discouraged if there are long lines, that means there is more time to talk to each other, to make more friends! :)

Please leave plenty of time to get to the meeting location, as it may take up to 30 minutes from parking to getting to the location because of crowds and the security lines.

If you have to leave the group for any reason, please do so at any time. It may be hard to "jump back in" since messaging can be difficult with a lot of people. You can ask where we are on the chat on Meetup however it may take a while for someone to respond.

In some cases, the wait times for certain snacks or rides may be long. This time is great for talking, meeting new people, playing games, and sometimes this is the best part of the experience!

I will keep this a free group however, if you enjoyed your time, donations will be accepted only to cover the recurring maintenance costs of this group.

Our organizers help run other Meetup groups and are familiar with hosting events. Any unwanted or uncomfortable behavior will be noted and/or challenged and you may be asked to leave the group or may not be welcomed back. Anyone asked to leave will be banned from future meetups with our group.
