Terror You Can Taste - A Different Kind of HHN Meetup Event!

Glad you can join us! Please read all the details below:

All attendees must be at least 18 years old to join this adult event, preferred 21 and older because of possible alcohol consumption.

***Note - at this event, we will NOT be going into the Haunted Houses, we will be only sampling the food and beverages***

We're going to INDULGE ourselves in a different kind of Halloween Horror Nights experience! Join our group as we wind our way through the best food and drink this spooky season has to offer!

Tickets - Please note that this event requires a separate ticket in addition to your AP. If you have a Premier Pass, you have one (1) free entrance on select nights. October 15th is a qualifying night. If you are using your Premier Passholder "freebie" for this night, you will need to make a reservation online to enter the park. Universal will email you this reservation link.

If you have a free admission to Halloween Horror Nights with your Premier Pass and haunted houses aren't your cup of tea, this is your golden opportunity to use it!

This event will focus on enjoying food and drink (and perhaps a show or two to give us time to digest in between snacks...) while meeting new people and making friends.

Meeting Time - We will be meeting at 5:45pm - earlier than the normal start time of HHN, at Starbucks in CityWalk. We'll make our way to the main gates of Universal Studios a little early, as large crowds are expected. If you will be late, please let us know and we will try to post where we are so you can catch up. We will also post our next destination on the Comments on the app when we leave the first few snack locations to allow anyone who needs a later start to catch up with the group.

The Event - Once inside we will try to sample as many spooky treats as we can. We will likely not be able to hit all of the goodies available, so please comment ahead of time if you have a favorite one.

Photo & Video Notice - We love capturing the fun at our meetups! Please note that group photos & videos, and sometimes candid shots, may be taken during the event for use in our group’s social media and promotional posts. By attending, you’re giving us permission to use your image in these materials. If you’d prefer not to be included, just let us know, we’ll make sure to respect that.

This is a social group and I encourage everyone to talk and make everyone feel comfortable and included in the conversation. Don't be discouraged if there are long lines, that means there is more time to talk to each other, to make more friends! :)

Please leave plenty of time to get to the meeting location, as it may take up to 30 minutes from parking to getting to the location because of crowds and the security lines.

If you have to leave the group for any reason, please do so at any time. It may be hard to "jump back in" since messaging can be difficult with a lot of people. You can ask where we are on the chat on Meetup however it may take a while for someone to respond.

In some cases, the wait times for certain snacks may be long. This time is great for talking, meeting new people, playing games, and sometimes this is the best part of the experience!

I will keep this a free group however, if you enjoyed your time, donations will be accepted only to cover the recurring maintenance costs of this group.

I help run other Meetup groups and am familiar with hosting events. Any unwanted or uncomfortable behavior will be noted and/or challenged and you may be asked to leave the group or may not be welcomed back. Anyone asked to leave will be banned from future meetups with our group.
