Ghoulishly Good October - Halloween Horror Nights Event

Glad you can join us! Please read all the details below:

All attendees must be at least 18 years old to join this adult event, preferably 21 and older, because of possible alcohol consumption.

About - Join us for a night of “terrifying haunted houses, sinister scare zones, and outrageous live entertainment” as the group heads off to Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights!

Tickets - Please note that this event requires a separate ticket in addition to your AP. If you have a Premier Pass, you have one (1) free entrance on select nights. October 3rd is a qualifying night. If you are using your Premier Passholder "freebie" for this night, you will need to make a reservation online to enter the park. Universal will email you this reservation link.

Meeting Time - We will meet at 5:45 pm under the overhang at Starbucks in CityWalk. We'll try to beat the early rush, as large crowds are expected. We will wait 15 minutes max to collect folks and then head to get in line at 6pm. If you are late, please let us know and we will try to post where we are so you can catch up. Since some attendees may need to start a little later due to work schedules, I will also post our location on the Meetup page when we are headed to our second house for anyone who would like to join us a little later in the evening.

The Event - Once inside we will try and hit as many houses as we can and try to experience some of the other entertainment offerings as time permits. We will likely not be able to hit all of the houses so please comment ahead of time if you have a favorite one. We may start at the back of the park to maximize our opportunities. The listed end time of the event is 11:30pm, however, feel free to leave early or stay late!

Food/Drink - ***Bring an empty water bottle which can be filled at the soda stations*** We will definitely take a break for food and drinks but will stick to special event food tents or quick service to ensure we spend more time in the houses and less time waiting for food. There will be special event options throughout the event so if you have any preferences, please shout them out. Please stay hydrated!

Photo & Video Notice - We love capturing the fun at our meetups! Please note that group photos & videos, and sometimes candid shots, may be taken during the event for use in our group’s social media and promotional posts. By attending, you’re giving us permission to use your image in these materials. If you’d prefer not to be included, just let us know, we’ll make sure to respect that.

This is a social group and I encourage everyone to talk and make everyone feel comfortable and included in the conversation. Don't be discouraged if there are long lines, that means there is more time to talk to each other, to make more friends! :)

Please leave plenty of time to get to the meeting location, as it may take up to 30 minutes from parking to getting to the location because of crowds and the security lines.

If you need to leave the group for any reason, please do so at any time. It may be hard to "jump back in" since messaging can be difficult with a lot of people. You can ask where we are on the chat on Meetup however, it may take a while for someone to respond.

We will be waiting in the regular lines and the wait times may be long. This time is great for talking, meeting new people, playing games, and sometimes this is the best part of the experience! So please don't be discouraged by long wait times.

I will keep this a free group however, if you enjoyed your time, donations will be accepted only to cover the recurring maintenance costs of this group.

I help run other Meetup groups and am familiar with hosting events. Any unwanted or uncomfortable behavior will be noted and/or challenged and you may be asked to leave the group or may not be welcomed back. Anyone asked to leave will be banned from future meetups with our group.
