I have been to the Databricks User Group in St. Louis, while the swag was nice, it was basically all marketing fluff. This group is for people that work hands on with the platform to discuss the nuts and bolts of running the platform administratively, and on architecture discussions. How do you design a secure and compliant databricks ecosystem. Using the platform for analytics and data science will be on the table, but secondary to the main topic. If you are a Developer writing ETL/ELT pipelines and jobs, this group may be informative, but that is not the primary topic.
