Escape the grind, leave your cell-phone at the door, and do a digital detox with us at Dolores Park in SF! Enjoy an afternoon of screen-free mingling surrounded by a community of like-minded people, looking to unplug and play!

Why join?
This event carves out meaningful time in your schedule to put away distractions, unwind, and reconnect with the simple joys of life. Whether you’re catching up on hobbies, meeting new people, or simply enjoying some quiet time, this is your opportunity to embrace a few hours of complete unplugged, distraction free time with yourself and others.

What to expect?

✨Checking your phone at the door and entering a relaxed, tech free environment to unwind and be present.
🪷A moment for mindfulness and time with yourself - whether through journaling, reading, meditation.
🐇Fun, interactive activities that encourage connection and play. We encourage co-creation.
✨Great company, meaningful conversations, and a chance to recharge.

Total Duration: 2.5 Hours

15 min: Sign in, check your cell phone, and get settled in. Please arrive on time as it helps to build our container. : )

30 min: Solo time “me time” - bring a book, journal to write in, or a hobby you’ve been working on and have some much deserved time with yourself.

1 hour: Community time - transition into time with others (with the option to stay in solo time). Take this opportunity to connect via “community through curiosity” conversation games at our “Talk” station. Play games with people at our “Play” station, or simply continue with “me” time at our “Chill” station. All around new friends in a distraction free space.

30 min: Closing circle - let’s wrap up with a quick reflection and gratitude. Share one word that sums up your takeaway.

By handing over your phone, you are placing a great deal of faith in the system, however, if something unexpected happens and it happens to disappear, Unplug & Play Collective can’t be held responsible. Not quite ready to part ways with your phone? No worries - simply switch it off and keep it out of sight!
