We curate multiple unique events every week. These gatherings range from board game nights to karaoke, and they all aim at one goal: genuine, face-to-face connection. You do not need to know the rules to join in. Our expert Teachers run games at our events to help you learn the ropes and start playing immediately.

John Carpenter made They Live in 1988 as a gag about Reagan-era consumerism. He accidentally made one of the most unsettling movies ever committed to film. It has a fistfight scene so long and so ferocious it became a cultural landmark. It has a synth score that will live in your brain forever. It cost almost nothing and it has never stopped being relevant.
We're watching it together in a living room, which is exactly how it should be watched.

Here's the deal: if you've never been to an Unplugged Commons night, this is the one to start with. We're a community built on one simple idea — adults deserve an easy, low-pressure way to make real friends. You don't need to know anyone. You don't need to know a single game. You just need to show up and sit down; we handle the rest. Whether you're a first-timer or a board game veteran, there's a seat with your name on it.
