Our theme for 2026 is Choose Joy!

Choosing joy means living with intention. It’s the practice of noticing what makes you feel alive, nurturing your well-being, and responding to life with greater presence, kindness, and self-trust.

Choosing joy isn’t about avoiding life’s challenges. It’s about staying connected to yourself as you move through them—and discovering that joy can coexist with real life, exactly as it is.

Our Topic for May is: The Joy of Friendship Walk & Talk

“Joy multiplies when it is shared among friends.” – Kahlil Gibran

Choosing joy in your friendships is really about how you show up with the people in your life.

It’s staying present, being real, and noticing the moments that feel good—like a laugh, a shared story, or just feeling understood. It also means noticing when you drift into stress, assumptions, or distraction, and gently coming back to the person in front of you.

It’s not about having perfect friendships or always feeling close. It’s about appreciating what’s already there and letting those moments count.

While we walk and talk, we’ll explore:

  • What gets in the way of you being fully present?
  • What helps you feel more open and real with others?
  • What’s one small way you can choose joy with a friend this week?

Here’s the plan for our walk & talk:

  • Meet by the adult swings in Campbell Park (info on parking in Campbell)
  • Walk & Talk along the Los Gatos Creek Trail (about 2 miles)
  • Participate in Sharing Circles
  • Take a group photo

After the walk & talk, I'm walking to Orchard Valley Coffee in downtown Campbell - I'd love for you to join me!

**IF RAIN IS FORECASTED, I'LL UPDATE THE LOCATION TO MEET AT ORCHARD VALLEY COFFEE IN DOWNTOWN CAMPBELL.**

Joyfully,
