Because being a grown-up doesn’t mean we have to act like it.
Welcome to Unsupervised Adults, the group where adulting goes out the window and fun takes center stage. This is your permission slip to laugh too loud, dance like nobody’s watching, and say yes to new adventures.
One week it might be karaoke or trivia, the next it’s game night, hiking, happy hours, or something totally unexpected. As we grow, members can even pitch in and host their own ideas — the more wild and creative, the better.
Here’s what we’re about:
- Fun first — if it makes you smile, we’re doing it.
- All are welcome — singles, couples, all genders, all identities.
- A safe, inclusive space — no drama, no creepers, no pressure.
- Real connections — come for the activities, stay for the friendships.
- 21+ only — because sometimes fun comes with cocktails (and we like to keep it grown-up).
We’re not a meat market, we’re not about heavy topics, and we’re definitely not here to be “serious.” Life already gives us enough of that. This is where you drop your insecurities at the door, let your playful side out, and remember what it feels like to just enjoy yourself.

Grab your warmest winter gear, bring your holiday spirit, and join Unsupervised Adults for a glowing good time at the Fantasy Lights Walk at Spanaway Park!
We're trading headlights for holiday lights as we stroll through two miles of dazzling, animated light displays. Think twinkling lights, festive music, delicious food trucks, plenty of laughs, and great company!
Whether you're feeling extra festive or just looking for an excuse to get outside and enjoy some holiday cheer, this is a great way to kick off the season.### 🎄 The Details

Fantasy Lights Walk sells out every year, so don't wait to purchase your tickets!
Everyone attending must purchase a ticket in advance for the Sunday, November 22, 4:30 PM session (except children ages 3 and under).
Tickets are limited, and admission is only guaranteed with a prepaid ticket for your selected session.

There is NO event parking at Spanaway Park.
I strongly recommend purchasing reserved parking when you buy your admission ticket. It's only $6 per vehicle (plus the online fee), and it will make your evening much easier!

Half the fun of this event is getting into the holiday spirit, so break out the light-up gear!
We're talking glowing headbands, flashing necklaces, light-up hats, LED bracelets, festive accessories — whatever makes you sparkle! ✨
There are usually a few vendors outside the event selling fun light-up goodies, but you don't need to spend a fortune. Dollar Tree often has inexpensive glowing accessories, so you can get festive on a budget.
Joe and I will be decked out in our glowing holiday gear, so you definitely won't have trouble spotting us! 😂🎄
Whether you go all out or just add a little sparkle, have some fun with it. The more festive, the better!### 👋 A Little Unsupervised Holiday Fun!
This is a laid-back, loosely hosted event. There won't be a designated meetup spot or organized group walk.
We'll all be attending the same 4:30 PM session, so there's a good chance we'll cross paths along the way!
Families and kids are welcome at this event! While Unsupervised Adults is normally a 21+ group, we're making an exception for this family-friendly holiday outing. Feel free to bring your spouse, partner, children, grandchildren, or other family members as your own walking companions.
Please keep in mind that this is not a supervised group activity. Everyone is responsible for their own family members and walking companions, including supervising children throughout the event.
Feel free to explore at your own pace, stop for treats, take pictures, and enjoy the lights however you'd like.
No rigid schedules, no pressure — just a little holiday magic!### ❄️ Rain or Shine — Bundle Up!
This event happens rain or shine, and it's going to be cold!
Washington weather doesn't take the holidays off, so come prepared!- 🧥 Dress in warm layers, including a winter coat, gloves, and a hat.
- ☔ Bring rain gear or a waterproof jacket.
- 👟 Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate walking shoes.
- ☕ Food trucks will be available if you'd like to purchase something tasty.
- 🎅 Festive hats, scarves, and light-up accessories are absolutely encouraged!
The walk is approximately two miles and accommodates wheelchairs and strollers.

Everyone is responsible for their own admission, parking, food purchases, transportation, personal behavior, and accompanying guests.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times.
