Who says Wednesday nights have to be boring? We're heading to the movies for a monthly night of good flicks, great company, and absolutely no adult supervision required! 🎬
Whether you're a movie buff, a popcorn enthusiast, or just looking for an excuse to get out of the house and meet some fun people, you've found your crew!
No elaborate plans, no awkward icebreakers, and no pressure to socialize. Just pick a seat, grab some popcorn, and enjoy a movie with some fellow unsupervised adults!

Here's the fun part: YOU help choose what we watch!
About a week before each movie night, we'll post a poll with three movie options. Cast your vote, and the movie with the most votes wins!
Once the votes are in and theater showtimes are available, we'll update this event with the winning movie, showtime, and ticket information.
Don't feel like voting? No problem! Just check back to see what's playing and decide if you'd like to join us.

📍 Where: AMC Lakewood
🕒 Showtime: We'll aim for a start time between 6:00–7:30 PM, depending on what's playing.
🎟️ Tickets: Everyone purchases their own ticket. We'll share the ticket link once the movie is selected.

🍷 Pre-Movie Happy Hour? Maybe!
Joe and I might grab a drink or bite before the movie. If we decide to make it a group thing, we'll share the details when we announce the winning movie. Totally optional, and no promises!
🍿 Find Your Seat, Find Your People!
Everyone purchases their own ticket and chooses their own seat. Joe and I will share our seat numbers in the event chat once we've purchased our tickets. Feel free to grab seats nearby or share your own seat number in the chat if you'd like others to find you!
🎬 Come Say Hi!
We'll be in our seats before the movie starts, wearing our name tags so you can spot us. Arrive a little early, wander over, and say hello! No formal introductions, no awkward icebreakers, and definitely no holding up the movie.
Once the trailers start, we're settling in. After all, we came to watch a movie! 😂
🎞️ And That's a Wrap!
When the credits roll, that's the end of our evening. No planned activities afterward, just a fun, easygoing Wednesday night at the movies.

🍿 RSVPs aren't tickets. Please purchase your own movie ticket once the details are announced. RSVPing on Meetup doesn't reserve a seat at the theater.
🍿 Your ticket, your tab. Everyone is responsible for their own tickets, concessions, drinks, and any other expenses.
🍿 Your evening, your way. Come solo, bring a friend, sit wherever you like, and socialize as much or as little as you'd like.
🍿 Be cool. Everyone is responsible for their own behavior. Respect your fellow moviegoers, theater staff, and our crew.
