Slow Tourism: Afternoon Sketching Meet-Up at Humboldt Forum

Why Go?

• Join us, the afternoon of Saturday, 11th of October at the Humboldt Forum in the city center of Berlin. We’ll be meeting up with fellow Sketchers & Artists to sketch the exterior and surroundings of this Berlin Architectural masterpiece. With outdoor scenes that include the Berliner Dom, the TV tower, numerous sculptural and cultural details, the area is perfect for an afternoon sketch. Alternatively, there are numerous nooks and crannies inside the forum to choose from as well, and sculpture, people and smooth architectural lines to sketch.
• Bring your preferred drawing medium, and meet up with our urban sketchers group full of a mix of skill levels. The drawings are for fun, and to get to know other artists and hobbyists in the area!
• Join us at Noon in the main Atrium with our host - Elizabeth, we’ll get to know one another and then set out in smaller groups to sketch the surrounding area. At 12:00, we’ll meet back up in the Forum Cafe (open until 18:30) for drinks and food. Optionally - we’ll share our work with one another.
