Untethered Hike at Abalone Cove, Palos Verdes + Brunch

With summer kicking into gear, we are planning a series of hikes to celebrate the upcoming sunshine season.

Let’s hike the Abalone Cove Trail on June 11th to kick things off! Meet at the trailhead at 8:45 am for a 9 am start.

We will have brunch at Yellow Vase afterward.

Trail Details

• 1.1-mile out-and-back trail near Rancho Palos Verdes.
• Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 30 min to complete. We can take our time wandering, taking in the views, and relaxing.
• This route involves multiple water crossings. Please come prepared.
• Surrounded by tide pools and a rocky beach, the trail is unique and full of scenery.

Parking

• Abalone Cove Shoreline park charges a fee to enter. Parking is one rate for 2 hours, or additional for over two hours.
