Welcome to the Up In The Air Kite Club. We started this group because we love the simple, meditative joy of getting a kite into the sky and realized there are a lot of people who have been wanting to try it but just aren't sure how to get started. Whether you have never held a kite string in your life or you have an old one tucked away in a closet that you have not pulled out in years, you are welcome here.
Our meetups are low-pressure and beginner-focused. We spend our time out in the open, sharing tips on how to catch the wind, choosing the right spot, and troubleshooting those inevitable tangles. It is really just about getting outside, meeting some friendly people, and enjoying the breeze. Come by, introduce yourself, and let’s get some kites up in the air together.
