What we’re about
This group is for polyamorous and polyamory friendly/curious folks in and around Upstate SC. Polyamory is having, or being open to having, multiple honest, loving, intimate relationships with the full knowledge and consent of everyone involved.
This group will be reading poly friendly articles as a way to learn more about polyamory and begin a discussion around topics related to polyamory such as types of open relationships, strategies, jealousy, compersion, and balance. We are interested in building community in and around Upstate SC with other like-minded people, beginning with discussions and hopefully leading into social events as we get to know one another.
This is primarily a learning and sharing group. If romantic connections are made, that is fantastic, but please don't join with the assumption that this is a dating club. Unwanted advances will result in one’s removal from the group. This is a space for people to feel free to expose their emotional vulnerabilities without fear of someone judging or taking advantage of those vulnerabilities. Through discussions, we will explore ways to deal with jealousy, mistrust, New Relationship Energy, and making all members of a poly group feel comfortable with their non-traditional arrangement.
