This meetup group is an extension of Up The Creek Rec. & Ski Club. Up The Creek is a non-profit year round recreation & ski club that has been in existence for over 35 years. We are run by volunteers and have various weekend and day events in summer and winter. In the winter, ski and snowboarding among other activities . In the summer we have boating and camping trips, weekly hiking, biking, volleyball, and tennis groups. We have numerous parties throughout the year and have a happy hour every Friday at a different bar or restaurant in the Denver metro Area. However, the best part is that it is a flexible club that always welcomes new ideas, places and activities including volunteer work. You don’t have to be a member to attend any of our events, guests are always welcome! Membership is currently over 500. See our main website at www.upthecreek.org

ANNUAL SUMMER KICK OFF PARTY

Three Fountains Condo Clubhouse, 3280 So Oneida Way, Denver, CO, US
Please join us for our Annual Summer Kick Off Party! This years event will be held at The Three Fountains Condominium Clubhouse, 3280 south Oneida Way, in Denver. Directions: From the intersection of South Monaco and East Hampton go North for one block, turn right on east Girard Avenue, go 4 blocks East; turn left on South Oneida Way, go North about 3 blocks, turn right into “Service Lane 1”. You will see a sign the says “Three Fountains”, behind the sign is the clubhouse, right beside the swimming pool. Park in the visitor parking by the clubhouse or on Oneida Way. If you need help finding the place call Curtis at 303-667-6902.

Our Summer Kick Off Party is always a fun event! Our SUMMER TRIPS and ACTIVITIES, so far, are Steamboat Springs, Harmel's (including Crested Butte Day), possible rafting trip down the Arkansas, Ouray(including Telluride Day), Manitou Incline Hike, Cheyenne Mountain Camping, Chicago Blues Festival, Summer Bash/Memorial Day Picnic, White Water Rafting, July 4th Picnic, and more to follow. We are still looking into The Glenwood Springs Strawberry Days and additional camping trips. UTC Summer Trip Leaders will be on hand to answer questions and provide additional information about their trips. You will see other club members and find out what trips they are going on.

For all paid attendees the following is included: A Mexican Food Buffet, Non-alcoholic beverages, Deserts.
There is no bar, but feel free to bring a small cooler with your own favorite additional beverages. The fun starts at 5:00 P.M. and music and dancing from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M.

Some Things To Do in New Orleans -
New Orleans Jazz Festival
- Festival concerts will be between Thursday, April 23th to Sunday, April 26th, 2026.
- The festival lineup can be found at www.nojazzfest.com/music
- Music is from 11:00 A.M. – 7:00 P.M.
- 15+ stages with 1 Native American Circle.
- Prices for 1 day $99 Early Bird Special. 4 days $396.
- Festival transportation pickup near the Jung Hotel and drop off at the festival.
- Food and drinks can be purchase at the festival.
Museums
- World War II Museum (2nd most popular Smithsonian Museum).
- New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum.
- New Orleans Art Museums (many with varied styles).
- Aquarium.
- New Orleans Historical houses tour (many tours price depends on to many factors).
FLAT BOAT TOURS. 2 hours, based upon size of the boat and if you need transportation to the cruise site.
NEW ORLEANS GHOST ADVENTURE TOURS (Many types including cemeteries and ghost tours).
