Your hike will take you through the valley and woods, with dramatic rock (chert) formations, and Islais Creek, one of the few remaining free-flowing creeks in San Francisco. Then enter Billy goat Hill, what remains of a 1800’s quarry, named for the goats that grazed on its steep hillside. The Hill overlooks amazing views of San Francisco skyline on a clear day beautiful views of the Eastbay. After meandering our way to Dunkin hill and down through Church Street and part of mission we climb up to the top of Bernal Heights Hill for grand views of the city and Bay.
