Hike to Wine & Cheese & History at Sutro Heights Park for Sunset

Let's do a short urban hike, up to Sutro Heights Park by the Ocean. We may do the Lincoln Park Mosaic Stairs, and maybe some alley streets, before heading to Sutro Heights Park for some history. We will watch the sunset from Sutro Heights Park if the weather cooperates. Please bring wine and cheese to share. You can also participate without wine and cheese (just bring whatever you would like.) Please bring this with you when you arrive.

We will meet at New World Market 6 pm. At 6:10 sharp we will start walking.

There will be hills and stairs, and darkness on the way out. Please bring a flashlight.

Please note this is Sutro Heights Park by Ocean Beach and not Sutro Forest.

Please bring cups, small paper plates, napkins and some plastic utensils. You may also want to bring a blanket or something to sit on, although there are some benches.

Please note: Phone help is not available for latecomers. Escorts, (also known as sweeps) are not provided, so slower walkers should be completely prepared to finish the hike on their own if they become separated from the group, and they may want to consider bringing a friend to walk with them. I reserve the right to make small changes to the route as needed.
