Solstice-ish Wanderings on the First Full Day of Summer

Let's celebrate the first full day of summer with a Solstice-ish Saturday afternoon into evening urban wandering hike. I am still working on the route but we will do some wandering with a bit of everything such as: a Mosaic Staircase in the Excelsior, an Urban Farm, an earthquake shack or two, a dirt road or two, a community garden, or two and some Bernal Heights views. There will be hills and stairs. We will not end at start point.

We will wind and wend our way into the Inner Mission and Dolores Park for our after gathering where we will celebrate the Solstice and the first full day of summer. Consider bringing things to celebrate such as candles, poems, objects, herbs or flowers. We will stop at a store to buy provisions. Bring a cup or prepare to purchase one.

Please note: Phone help is not available for latecomers. If you are late it is very hard to catch up with us. We walk at a medium pace. Escorts or sweeps are not provided, so slower walkers should be completely prepared to finish the hike on their own if they become separated from the group, and they may want to consider bringing a friend to walk with them. I reserve the right to make small changes to the route as needed.
