Thursday Evening Urban Hike: Financial District to China Basin

Let's do a Thursday evening pre-holdiday urban hike from the Financial District over to the China Basin area. I am still working on the exact route but there may be hills and stairs, (but honestly the area is not that hilly) paths and gardens, and water views. We will check out some of the parks in the Southern Waterfront area such as China Basin Park and Bayfront Park. We will meet at 5:30 but leave at 5:40 (grace period).

The after gathering will depend on the weather. If the weather is decent, we will have it outside at one of the new parks, possibly Bay Front Park and we would stop at a store for provisions. Bring a cup or prepaere to purchase one. If the weather is not so good, we will find an after gathering spot indoors at a commercial establshment.

Please note: Phone help is not available for latecomers. If you are late it is very hard to catch up with us. We walk at a medium pace. Escorts or sweeps are not provided, so slower walkers should be completely prepared to finish the hike on their own if they become separated from the group, and they may want to consider bringing a friend to walk with them. I reserve the right to make small changes to the route as needed.
