Let's do a Thursday evening Haunted Hike. We will meet out in front of Duboce Park Cafe located at 2 Sanchez Street, at 6:00 and leave at 6:10 sharp. The plan is to look for streets that are well known for decorations on Halloween and hope they are decorated by 10/23.

We will explore the NoPa area, and then make our way to Buena Vista Park for some history of the park including haunted history dating back to the Gold Rush, and some gravestone remnants embedded in the paved paths. Pretty spooky! After that we will view the always entertaining decorations in the Upper Buena Vista area. The after gathering is targeted for the Haight/Cole Valley area. We will not end at start point. There will be hills and stairs.

The sun sets earlier now so much of this hike will take place in darkness. Bringing a flashlight is a good idea especially for Buena Vista Park.

Please note: Phone help is not available for latecomers. If you are late it might be hard to catch up with us but you can use the link above to try. We walk at a medium pace. Escorts or sweeps are not provided, so slower walkers should be completely prepared to finish the hike on their own if they become separated from the group, and they may want to consider bringing a friend to walk with them.
