Vintage Neon Night Hike: Mission and Bernal Heights
Details
Let's do a Thursday evening vintage neon urban hike in Mission District and Bernal Heights neighborhoods to check out a good selection of vintage neon signs. We meet at 5:45, but leave at 5:55 (grace period). After this hike you may never look at neon signs the same way again!
The after gathering will be at a commercial establishment in the Bernal Heights area or just a tad over the border, into the edge of the Bayshore commerical corridor, at possibly the Old Clam House which has great history and a vintage neon sign too! Hope to see you there!
Please note: Phone help is not available for latecomers. If you are late it is very hard to catch up with us. We walk at a medium pace. Escorts or sweeps are not provided, so slower walkers should be completely prepared to finish the hike on their own if they become separated from the group, and they may want to consider bringing a friend to walk with them. I reserve the right to make small changes to the route as needed.
