Let's do an urban hike in the Excelsior & Bernal Heights neigborhoods, ending just over the Bernal border in the Bayshore corridor.

On the itinerary is: a Mosaic Staircase and a Blue Water Tower in the Excelsior, an Urban Farm, maybe an earthquake shack or two, and some views. There will be hills and stairs. We will not end at start point. We will end at the Old Clam House to see their restored neon sign and learn some history of the place. If we can fit, we will do the after gathering there in the bar area. If we don't fit we will head back up the hill to Bernal Heights.

Please note: Phone help is not available for latecomers. If you are late it is very hard to catch up with us. We walk at a medium pace. Escorts or sweeps are not provided, so slower walkers should be completely prepared to finish the hike on their own if they become separated from the group, and they may want to consider bringing a friend to walk with them. I reserve the right to make small changes to the route as needed.
