Urban Hike: West Portal out to Ocean Beach Area

Due to the rain and slippery stairway conditions, I have modified this walk. Please read the new description and note the new start time. We will walk from the West Portal neighborhood into the Sunset. If weather permits we will walk to the Sunset Reservoir, then a gallery visit to the Far Out Gallery on Taraval. We may include some of Sunset Dunes. When we are done with walking we will head to Riptide for Bingo. It's been a while since we have done Bingo. Bingo starts at 6 if anyone wants to come for just that.

Note the new start time is 4 pm. We meet at 4, but leave at 4:10 (grace period).

Please note: Phone help is not available for latecomers. If you are late it is very hard to catch up with us. We walk at a medium pace. Escorts or sweeps are not provided, so slower walkers should be completely prepared to finish the hike on their own if they become separated from the group, and they may want to consider bringing a friend to walk with them. I reserve the right to make small changes to the route as needed.
