Urban Sketching at SE Hawthorne Plaza

Join us for a couple of hours of urban sketching at SE Hawthorne & 37th!

Our group meets once a month around Portland to draw the city.

• No need to sign up, just show up!
• Bring a sketchbook and your favorite portable art supplies.
• Feel free to draw anything in the area that looks interesting to you--could be buildings, people, landscapes, or your coffee cup.

On Saturday June 21, we're meeting at the new pedestrian plaza on SE 37th and Hawthorne. There are picnic tables and a great view of the Bagdad Theater across the street.

Tov Coffee at 3639 SE Hawthorne opens early on Saturday for your caffeine fix, and Harder Day Coffee at 3757 SE Hawthorne is right around the corner.

10:00 AM: Meet in the pedestrian plaza for introductions

Noon: Meet back at the same location for a sketchbook throwdown where we share what we drew. Sharing your art is totally optional, but it's fun to see what everyone else has created!
