Please bring $2.00 CASH which will take care of the court rentals. This is a fun, easygoing pickleball session at Sunset Park Courts #21 & #22 Beginners are welcomed and we will show you the ropes.

Expect a casual, social vibe with a mix of beginners and intermediate players, no pressure, and we will teach you how to play. Just good energy and some friendly competition.

• Hat + sunscreen recommended it's outdoors don't burn.

A Wicked Night at Via Brazil — presented by Urban Trails. 🎃🖤

This Halloween, skip the candy and come get the whole Chef’s Table. 😂🍽️

For this Sunday's scramble, we're heading into Calico Basin for a strenuous and rewarding exploratory adventure through some of Red Rock's most spectacular sandstone terrain! Expect colorful rock formations, winding canyons, steep scrambles, and sweeping desert views as we venture beyond the established trails. With plenty of route-finding, hands-on climbing, and opportunities for discovery, this outing is all about embracing the challenge and seeing where the adventure takes us!

Start time is right around sunrise for a beautiful morning scramble.

⚠️ STRENUOUS | Class 2–3 Scrambling w/ Exposure | ~1.5mi | ~750ft gain

📸 WHAT TO EXPECT
A challenging scramble at a RELAXED pace, stopping for frequent breaks and photos. As a photographer, I will coordinate some group photos.

💡 PRO TIP: Start hydrating before you hit the trail. Drinking 8–16 oz of water with electrolytes about an hour beforehand can help your body stay ahead of the heat rather than trying to catch up once you're already dehydrated.

💥 WHAT IS SCRAMBLING?
Scrambling sits between hiking and climbing, involving hands-on movement over rocky terrain.

• Class 2 Scrambling - Steep hiking with some hand use for balance; minimal risk.
• Class 3 Scrambling - Hands-on climbing with route choice; a fall could cause serious injury.
• Exposure - Sections where a fall would result in a significant drop.

🚗 WHERE TO MEET
We will meet at the elbow in the road just past the Red Spring parking lot. Please see the PIN of this event for the exact spot. You will park along the road in the gravel. This is outside of the Red Rock Scenic loop, so no passes or reservations are required.

WHAT TO BRING

• 🥾 Proper shoes (approach shoes for scrambling or hiking shoes with good rubber grip)
• 💧 2–3 liters of water
• 🍎 Snacks
• 🧢 Dress for the weather
• 🧤 Helmet and Gloves (recommended for scrambling)

By registering for this event, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk and voluntarily choose to participate.

In addition to the electronic liability waiver above, all participants are required to sign a written liability waiver at the meetup location prior to participating in the event. Participants who do not sign the written waiver will not be permitted to join the hike.
