First Creek Canyon Trail To The Grotto - Advanced Beginner / Moderate

First Creek: This is a scenic hike of about 3.4 miles. We will hike to the top of the waterfall. The hike is considered moderate if you want to scramble down to the base of the waterfall (optional).

Terrain & Scenery: This level dirt path leads through desert scrub toward First Creek in the mouth of the canyon. The easy trail continues up the tree-lined creek before turning back the same way.

Trail Type: In and Out

Parking: There is parking on the shoulder on the right side of the road.

Directions: Drive past the Cowboy Trails for 3.3 miles. Look for me next to my silver Honda Civic.

This is a group hike and will be at a slower pace. We will keep the group together so that we can socialize, take plenty of pictures, and enjoy the scenery.
