This hike will start at 9 so everyone can make it to their Superbowl parties.

This is considered a moderate hike due to the rocky trail and the elevation gain the last half mile to the top.

South Oak Creek to the Knoll (Wilson's Pimple): This is a scenic hike of about 4 miles. We will hike (almost) to the top of Wilson's Pimple. The hike is a great hike for advanced beginners and intermediate hikers.

Terrain & Scenery: This is a rocky dirt path with a gradual incline. We will start some fairly steep elevation near the end to get to a ridge with breathtaking views that can only be seen from the top. This is an open desert but there are spots of shade and some amazing rocks and trees.

Trail Type: Up and Back

Parking: There is parking on the shoulder on the right side of the road.

Directions: Drive past the Red Rock entrance for about 3.5 miles. The trailhead is on the right side of the road with parking on the shoulder. Look for me next to my silver Honda Civic.

This is a group hike and will be at a slower pace. We will keep the group together so that we can socialize, take plenty of pictures, and enjoy the scenery. The view from the top is too good to miss so we will hike so everyone can experience it. There are tons of photo oops.

*Guests must be 21. No fur babies at this time.
