Back by Request! You said you wanted to play on the rocks and I promised we could. This hike is located in the Calico Basin area at the end of Sandstone Dr. This is a fun hike with amazing views. There is one steep hill and some bouldering (not scrambling). Due to group size limits around this area, rsvps are limited to group members only.

Kraft Mountain Loop: This is a scenic hike of about 3.6 miles. We will start our hike at the end of Sandstone Dr. We will do this hike clockwise, going up what we loveingly call "Hell Hill." We will then drop down into the wash. At the end of the wash we will circle back.

Terrain & Scenery: This is a wash, not a typical trail. We will have to climb over large rocks, but this is bouldering, not scrambling. There are 1 or 2 places that are more challenging, but we will help each other as needed.
The scenery inside the wash is beautiful. The landscape is unlike any other in the area. The photo ops are endless.
This is a wash and there may be some spots of shade.

Trail Type: Loop

Parking: There is a parking lot at the end of Sandstone Dr. and parking along the shoulder.

Directions: We will meet at the end od Sandstone Dr.

This is a group hike and will be at a slower pace. We will keep the group together so that we can socialize, take plenty of pictures, and enjoy the scenery.

*Guests must be 21. No fur babies.
