August General Meeting

Join us at 6:00 PM at the Pompano Beach Elks’ Club lounge for a pre-meeting social hour. Food and beverage service is available.

The General Meeting starts at 7:00 PM in an adjoining conference room, beginning with a presentation by our monthly guest speaker. The presentation is followed by a review of current Club activities, including Overseas Travel, Local Diving, Mini-Trips, and Social Events.

Joshua Patterson, Ph. D. is the club's speaker for August, 8/7. Josh is an Associate Professor in Restoration Aquaculture for the UF Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, School of Forest, Fisheries and Geomatics Sciences. Josh works at The Florida Aquarium | Center for Conservation. Josh will be talking about seagrass status in Florida, restoration and propeller scarring work/findings.
