We are excited to introduce our guest speaker, Nicolas Thiebaut, for the USF Data Science Speaker Series on Friday, October 20th, at 12:30 PM.
Nicolas holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics and has transitioned into the world of Machine Learning. Over the past eight years, he has successively been a Data Scientist, a Machine Learning Engineer, and an Engineering Manager, first in Paris and then in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he now lives. Additionally, he occasionally teaches AI topics and conducts machine learning research.
In this talk, he will explore the advancements in Large Language Models (LLMs) that have opened up new possibilities. Nicolas will discuss the evolution of language agents and the practical aspects of building LLM applications.
