The USF Data Science Speaker Series is thrilled to welcome back Dr. Yannet Interian on Friday, February 9th, at 12:30 pm!
Dive into the world of Hugging Face, an open-source platform that offers a wide array of natural language processing (NLP) capabilities. Dr. Interian, an associate professor in the Master’s in Data Science program, will lead us through the capabilities and user-friendliness of the Hugging Face API.
During her talk, Dr. Interian will showcase the capabilities of the Hugging Face API, providing access to state-of-the-art language models. You will gain valuable insights into how pretrained Language Models (LLMs) can proficiently handle a range of NLP tasks without requiring extensive training. Additionally, the talk will explore the intricate process of fine-tuning models for specific tasks, allowing for customization and adaptation to your labeled datasets.
