For now all meetings are virtual. If there is something you would like to talk about or would like to be a presenter, please message us. We will start meeting on a more regular monthly basis, starting January 2022.

This talk will explore the exciting world of SignalR and delve into its wide-ranging applications in modern web development. SignalR is a powerful real-time communication library that can deliver low-latency bi-directional communication between clients and servers in real-time. One can enhance user experiences and streamline data synchronization using SignalR.
The presentation will begin with an overview of SingalR, providing an understanding of key concepts and its architecture. Then we will explore sample applications in .NET Core. As scalability is critical in modern applications we will discuss strategies to effectively scale SignalR using Azure SignalR Service. Lastly, we will discuss the tradeoffs and challenges that using SignalR brings with it.
