Pioneer Peak (Brighton)

This out-and-back trail starts at Brighton Ski Resort in Big Cottonwood Canyon and leads up to Pioneer Peak. There will be views of several alpine lakes as well as Timpanogos. Latest reviews say there are still lots of flowers. Hoping for a great sunset.

Bring a headlamp or light source for the way down. This isn't a long hike but it's rocky and you will need good footing. Dogs are not allowed in this canyon.

We will meet where the parking lot meets the trail - there is a large sign showing the ski slopes just outside the main building: 8302 S Brighton Loop Rd, Brighton, UT 84121.
