Utah Community: Support Group
Details
Life isn’t always easy. Sometimes we’re navigating stress, loss, burnout, relationship challenges, health concerns, big transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed and alone. Even the strongest people go through difficult seasons.
This small-group gathering is a space for Utah Outdoors members who could use connection, encouragement, and supportive conversation.
This is not a therapy session, and it’s not a lecture. There’s no expert, no fixing, and no pressure. It’s simply a small circle of kind, respectful people who are willing to listen and support one another in a real and meaningful way.
We’ll typically meet at a local coffee shop or casual restaurant in a relaxed, comfortable setting. Depending on the weather, we may also meet at a park or host a small bonfire gathering. The goal is to create a calm, welcoming environment where conversation can happen naturally.
Group size will be limited to fewer than 8 people to help create a personal space where everyone has room to speak — if they’d like to.
What You Can Expect
• A welcoming and non-judgmental atmosphere
• Confidentiality — what is shared in the group stays in the group
• No pressure to talk — listening is completely okay
• Thoughtful, supportive conversation
• Real people sharing real life
This Gathering Is For Anyone Who:
• Is going through a difficult season
• Feels isolated and wants connection
• Needs a safe place to talk
• Wants to support others while also being supported
We’re building a community where people truly belong — and where we take care of each other, not just on the trail, but in life.
Ground Rules
• Be respectful
• Allow others to speak
• No interrupting or giving unnecessary advice
• Keep everything shared confidential
If you’re having a rough time, you don’t have to carry it alone. Sometimes just sitting at a table with a few good people — or around a quiet fire under the sky — can make a bigger difference than we realize.
If there’s enough interest and this feels meaningful to the group, we may make this a regular event so members have an ongoing space for connection and support.
Space is intentionally limited to keep the group small and meaningful. Please RSVP only if you genuinely plan to attend so we can maintain that safe and supportive environment.
I’m looking forward to building stronger friendships and deeper connections together.
