African concept Ubuntu: our shared humanity. Sunday Service 18 Oct.
·OnlineOnline### Sunday Service in Person/Online/Podcast
### Theme: "Ubuntu" - An African understanding of community, interconnectedness and our shared humanity
Lay led by UUFP member Lili Fulton
Lili's theme connects beautifully with our First UU Principle: “The inherent worth and dignity of every person.” Together, we will reflect on what it means to live out this principle through our relationships with one another and our wider community. We look forward to welcoming you all!
Lili Fulton has been a member of UUFP for about eight years now and is humbled by how important the community has become to her.
She describes herself as a global nomad and a jack of all trades, presently trying to retire in Paris while still running a school in Nairobi, Kenya. She had always hoped that “she would not be convicted by a jury of her peers,” and she feels that the UUFP community is proving that to be the case. For that, she is very grateful.
Click through for attendance details and further events.Children and families are welcome at our services! UUFP offers Religious Exploration (RE) for children ages 5-12. There is a babysitter for younger ones during the service.
All are welcome to join us for refreshments after the service (please bring your own cup). Some of us go for lunch in a nearby restaurant after the service, and you are welcome to join us for that.
